Thanks for your note Anne! I just updated the link, so should be all set now (the story is included in a newsletter, so its location moved after the latest newsletter was published).
Yes business couldn't be better; I'm having a great time. I pray all is well with you & yours too! :)

I, too, am a John Hughes fan - I wore out my first copy of "She's Having a Baby" and probably wore out my husband's tolerance watching it and other JH movies through the years. He will be missed...

Fab, G. I love the idea of opening up your mindset and figuring out where you can apply your smarts, your talents and your passions. You are on the move, my friend. Go go go! ;)

Got a link to your post from someone at Twitter (don't recall who posted it), and I think you're on to something! We were just talking about how we need to get more involved w/ EAA and how we could make an impact (from 1500 miles away). I'm in a similar situation, married to a passionate GA pilot and surrounded by men in the tech industry every day. Teaching them how to reach women more effectively could be *huge*.

(Of course, my first thought is to bring all my single and divorced girlfriends, as that place could be the ultimate single girls' meat market) :-)

Great post Ginger. I just sent this to my sister Laura who is also a women breaking through the gender barrier. She runs/owns an insurance agency and has had countless challenges related to the old boys club. Laura is also interested in getting into aviation. I am sure she will love this article. Well done.

Great thoughts. I think it's actually a good example for society's fear of change. It's the attitude of "we do it this way because it's how it's always been done." An example of not embracing possibility. In this case, if news organizations forget what is at their core without embracing their customers instead of something they're comfortable with (because it's been successfully that way), they will die. Think about customers, not your (meaning NYT) comfort.
